The marketing of this two-bedroom plus den unit was delayed until the offer date passed for an identical unit exactly 10 floors above in a popular high-rise across from the Rogers Centre. Three would-be buyers who were defeated by a high bidder with $930,000 for that unit, headed over to this one, listed for $799,000, and fought again for ownership.

The battle over this nearly 1,000-square-foot unit facing southwest topped out at $955,000.
“This particular floor plan does not come up that often and is fairly rare, so that’s one of the reasons why there was good demand for it,” said Mr. Khelifa. “The views are really great because you have beautiful lake and city views.”
